Karol Nawrocki Sworn in as Poland’s New President

 

Karol Nawrocki, who won the Polish presidential election with 50.89% of the vote, was sworn in at a parliamentary ceremony. In his speech, Nawrocki emphasized the unity of Poland, declaring that his decisions would serve the nation, not political divisions. Despite facing election challenges, he expressed forgiveness for the campaign’s attacks. Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice Party and far-right groups, defeated rival Rafal Trzaskowski, who received 49.11% of the vote. The voter turnout was 71.63%.
