North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un met commanders who fought on Russia’s Kursk front against Ukraine, praising their role in the “Operation to Liberate the Kursk Region” and vowing continued support for Moscow. He said the army had “strengthened its reputation as the world’s strongest” and would keep aiding Russia.
Pyongyang announced that returning soldiers will receive state decorations. Since October, around 13,000 North Korean troops have been deployed to Russia, with Seoul warning more may follow.
