The Turkish Navy’s TCG Kınalıada made a port call in Benghazi, Libya, the Ministry of National Defense announced. A PASSEX coordination meeting was held with senior Libyan National Army Naval Forces officials, including Benghazi Naval Base Commander Rear Admiral Abid Masoud Jouda.
Libyan commanders toured the ship and were briefed on its capabilities. As Kınalıada departed, it was seen off by Libyan naval officials, Turkish Rear Admiral Hüseyin Tığlı, Türkiye’s Consul General Serkan Kıramanlıoğlu, and other military representatives.
