Landslide Near Hindu Temple Kills 30 in India

At least 30 people died in a landslide near the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir after heavy rains. Flooding also disrupted schools and services in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab. Officials said power, water, and telecom restoration efforts are ongoing, while part of the Tawi Bridge collapsed amid the storms.
