The search for 29-year-old Russian swimmer Nikolai Svechnikov has entered its sixth day after he disappeared during the 37th Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race in Istanbul on August 24.
Coast Guard helicopters and boats are continuing operations across the Bosphorus, as authorities intensify efforts to locate the missing athlete.
