President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in New York to attend the 80th UN General Assembly. After being received by Turkish diplomats and officials at the airport, he traveled to the Turkevi Center (Turkish House), where he will stay and hold meetings.
A large crowd of Turkish citizens gathered outside the Turkevi Center to greet him, chanting his name and posing for photos. Erdoğan also held and caressed a baby during the welcome.
