In Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the February 6, 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye, collapsed areas are being replaced with new housing projects. Drone footage shows major changes in Mufti Square, Trabzon Boulevard, Cyprus Square, and Azerbaijan Boulevard.
Citizen Mustafa Başkonuş said, “Everywhere is a construction site, I believe this city will recover.” Student Ravza Pabuçcu added, “Our housing is going up quickly,” while Aysima Ayar said, “The wounds in the city are healing.”
