Polish Hotel Owner Launches Baby Bonus Program

Polish businessman Wladyslaw Grochowski, owner of Arche Group, announced a five-year campaign to boost the country’s declining birth rate. Guests who conceive while staying at his hotels will receive free halls for baptisms and birthdays, along with baby sets and strollers.

Grochowski also pledged a 10,000 zloty (about 115,000 TL) reward for each child born to his employees or customers who buy Arche Group homes. Poland’s population has fallen to 37.49 million, with births at their lowest level since World War II.
