Russia launched 12-hour airstrikes with nearly 600 drones and missiles on 11 Ukrainian regions, killing four and injuring 70. All deaths occurred in Kyiv, including a nurse and patient at the Cardiology Institute. Zaporizhia’s governor said 31 people, including children, were injured. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the assault a “cowardly attack” and urged tougher sanctions on Russia and limits on its oil and gas exports.
