Clashes Between Syrian Army And SDF Kill One In Aleppo

Clashes between the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the PKK/YPG’s Syrian offshoot, erupted in Aleppo, leaving one soldier dead and three wounded, according to Syrian media. The Defense Ministry said the army’s movements in the north are part of a redeployment plan following repeated SDF attacks on civilians. It added that Damascus remains committed to the March 10 agreement, accusing the SDF of trying to seize new positions. The fighting centered around the Sheikh Maksut and Ashrafiya neighborhoods, where roads were closed and residents were urged to stay indoors.
