Two buses collided head-on on the highway between Uganda’s capital Kampala and the northern city of Gulu, killing at least 63 people and injuring many others.
Police said both buses were overtaking other vehicles when the crash occurred near Kitaleba village, causing a chain reaction involving multiple vehicles. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, and authorities warned drivers against reckless overtaking.
