A passenger broke into the American Airlines’ Boeing 737-800 airliner’s cockpit and got out of the window while airliner was getting ready to take off from Ramon Villeda Morales International Airport located at Honduras’s city of San Pedro Sula. After flight crew realized the situation, officials took an action and take the passenger out from the cockpit. In the statement, American Airlines told that the passenger entered the cockpit damaged some parts of the airliner. “We applaud our outstanding crew members for their professionalism in handling a difficult situation,” American Airlines said.
On the other hand, the airliner was going to Miami in Florida state of US, with 121 passengers and 6 crew members. But there was a several hours long delay due to the turmoil.
