Heavy rains triggered flooding in Sulaymaniyah in northern Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, killing two people and injuring four. Homes and vehicles were badly damaged, according to the IKRG Civil Defense Directorate.
One victim died when a wall collapsed, and another drowned. During rescue efforts, a person tied to ropes was swept away by strong currents and remains missing.
