US Seizes Another Oil Tanker Linked to Venezuela

US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said American forces seized the oil tanker Veronica in the Caribbean for violating US sanctions linked to Venezuela. She said the vessel had passed through Venezuelan waters and breached President Donald Trump’s quarantine on sanctioned tankers. Noem said the operation was carried out with multiple US agencies and in line with international law. She warned that vessels violating US sanctions would face firm enforcement.
