Stadium Shooting After Match Kills 11 In Mexico

Eleven people were killed and 12 others injured in a shooting at a stadium in Salamanca, central Mexico, after an amateur football match. Local authorities said unidentified gunmen opened fire in the Loma de Flores neighborhood shortly after the game ended. Salamanca Mayor Cesar Prieto described the attack as “tragic and cowardly,” vowing that those responsible would be brought to justice. The Guanajuato Attorney General’s Office said an investigation is underway with increased security measures in the area.
