Students were evacuated from a primary school in Antalya, southern Türkiye, after a fire broke out at Primary and Secondary School in the Muratpaşa district. The fire started in a first-floor staff room around 12:30 p.m. local time, prompting the dispatch of police, fire, medical, and disaster response teams.
One student affected by smoke inhalation received first aid in an ambulance, while firefighters briefly searched classrooms after reports that a student was unaccounted for. The blaze was brought under control within about 30 minutes, causing material damage to the school.
