Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, DC, during his official visit to the United States. The meeting at Blair House is expected to address indirect US-Iran talks in Oman and regional developments, with Netanyahu also set to meet President Donald Trump.
The visit comes despite an arrest warrant issued in 2024 by the International Criminal Court over documented war crimes in Gaza. During the talks, Netanyahu also signed Israel’s participation in the newly formed Gaza Peace Committee, which is scheduled to convene next week.
