Dense morning fog blanketed Kastamonu in northern Türkiye, reducing visibility to as low as 20 meters in some areas and prompting drivers to proceed cautiously. The thick layer created a “sea of fog” over the city center, producing striking aerial images.
Sevtap Yazan, an employee at Kadıdağı Recreation Area, said the city center was completely covered in fog, while the weather near Ilgaz Mountain was sunny and clear. Another worker, Murat Ahçı, said visibility dropped to 10 meters in places before conditions improved later in the morning.
