A truck driver stopped to help an injured lynx in the Hafik district of Sivas, central Türkiye, after noticing the animal on the roadside. Servet Solmaz, who was traveling from Gaziantep to Trabzon, called local authorities and waited with the lynx until municipal teams arrived.
Solmaz said the animal had likely been hit by a vehicle and was struggling to walk. “Let’s think about animals too,” he said, urging people to leave food for wildlife during harsh winter conditions.
