Anutin Re-Elected as Prime Minister in Thailand

 

Thailand’s parliament re-elected Anutin Charnvirakul as prime minister, securing 293 votes in the 499-seat chamber. His main rival, Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, received 119 votes.

Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, becomes Thailand’s 32nd prime minister for a second term, marking the first re-election in 20 years. He said he is ready to work with all political groups to address economic challenges and improve living conditions.
