Eight Killed in Indonesia Helicopter Crash

All eight people on board an Airbus H130 helicopter were killed when the aircraft crashed into a dense, steep forest in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The helicopter, operated by Matthew Air Nusantara, lost contact shortly after taking off from a palm oil plantation in the Melawi regency. Search and rescue teams dispatched to the remote crash site confirmed that all six passengers and two crew members did not survive the impact.
