A ferry carrying around 50 passengers sank after it was hit by a cargo vessel in the Shitalakshya River, about 20 km away from the Bangladesh capital Dhaka, on Sunday night. A crane lifted the ferry boat from the waters in the river. Search operation is still for the unknown number of people still missing.
