Drones Intercepted Over Tehran

Iranian state media confirmed that recent explosions heard in the capital city of Tehran, Iran, were the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile drones. Small unmanned aerial vehicles, including “Orbiter” type mini-UAVs, breached Iranian airspace across various regions before being shot down. Despite the tense security situation, an anonymous Israeli security official told international media that Israel was not behind these specific aerial incursions. The official explicitly denied that the Israeli military had launched any new strikes against Iranian territory.
