A sudden landslide has temporarily closed the road leading to the Sarp Border Crossing in northeastern Türkiye. Large rocks tumbled down a steep slope just 500 meters from the customs gate, severely damaging a parked truck. Fortunately, local authorities reported no casualties or injuries following the incident. Highway maintenance crews were quickly dispatched and are currently using heavy machinery to remove the debris. Officials expect this vital travel route to fully reopen as soon as the massive rocks are cleared from the roadway.
