Türkiye’s Directorate of Religious Affairs has finalized preparations to host tens of thousands of Hajj pilgrims in fully air-conditioned tents at Mount Arafat. During the vital Arafat standing ceremony on May 26, these worshippers will be provided with upgraded amenities, including sofa beds and, for the first time in years, hot traditional meals. Roughly two million Muslims from around the world are expected to gather in the sacred area to pray until sunset. Following this profound spiritual milestone, the pilgrims will journey to Muzdalifah to gather pebbles for the symbolic stoning of the devil ritual in Mina.
