Ukrainian Forces Strike 13 Russian Shadow Fleet Ships

Tensions in the Black and Azov Seas are escalating following Ukrainian attacks on 13 Russian shadow fleet vessels over the past two days. Robert Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, confirmed the recent strikes successfully hit a tanker, two tugboats, and ten cargo ships. Warning against further operations, Brovdi stated that the fleet’s vessels “were warned with fire to cease their activities” in the region. The commander also noted that broader military campaigns have neutralized a total of 196 naval vessels and 117 energy facilities since early July. Reaffirming his nation’s resolve after striking multiple substations in occupied territories, Brovdi boldly declared, “We will stand. Moscow will fall. We will rebuild and reconstruct Crimea.”
