Devastating floods and landslides triggered by relentless monsoon rains have claimed 72 lives across Pakistan since late June. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the crisis has rapidly intensified, with 15 fatalities and 40 injuries reported in just the last 24 hours. The severe weather has left a total of 187 people injured while causing widespread destruction across multiple territories. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains the hardest-hit province with 41 deaths, while dozens of additional casualties have been recorded across Punjab, Kashmir, and Balochistan.
