Meanwhile, emergency responders and Self-Defense Forces are actively working at severely damaged sites, including a paper mill and a local mall affected by an explosion. Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi thanked the global community for its solidarity, stating, “The Japanese government is working with all its might to carry out rescue operations and provide assistance to the affected areas.”
