A recent wave of Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon has left one person dead and caused widespread destruction. According to Lebanese media, the victim was killed by machine gun fire in the town of Baraachit. The bombardment also leveled a state school in Kafr Tabnit and struck alarmingly close to a United Nations (UNIFIL) post in Hanin. Several other towns in the region sustained extensive structural damage during the ongoing offensive. So far, the Israeli military has not provided a detailed explanation regarding the specific purpose of these strikes.
