The death toll from a passenger ship that capsized in the Java Sea has risen to nine as authorities desperately search for 126 people who remain missing. The Virgo Transport 8, carrying 243 passengers and crew, was traveling from Surabaya to Banjarmasin when it overturned on Sunday. According to the Indonesian Navy, divers recently managed to enter the fully sunken vessel to recover three additional bodies. The ship had stayed partially afloat for several days before sinking completely, with only 108 survivors rescued so far.
