After visiting the Turkey last week, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele shared a video on his social media account including images of his visit on Turkey. “Oh my Turkey! Beautiful country of the beautiful people. It made me both happy and proud to witness the trust of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the treasury of the Ottoman Empire being taken care so much,” Bukele said in his social media post.

On the other hand, President of El Salvador Bukele had paid an official visit to Turkey on January 19 to January 21. During his visit, Bukele had met with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Bukele has also visited Anıtkabir, Turkish Aviation and Space Industry (TAI) also known as TUSAŞ, and Ankara University. Meanwhile, Bukele was awarded with a “Friendship Honor Award”.
