Greenland’s main opposition party ‘Inuit Ataqatigiit’ has won the early parliamentary election. The left-wing Inuit Ataqatigiit secured 37% of votes and Its rival, the ruling social democratic ‘Siumut’ party has won 29% of votes, according to official results.
Inuit Ataqatigiit which has strong environmental focus campaigned against an international mining project in Kvanefjeld.
