A fire broke out in a house at 9th floor of a 11 floor building located at Chertanovo district in Russia’s capital city of Moscow. After the incident, firefighters been called but they had been late to reach the scene. Upon the delay of the firefighters, the woman caught in the flames has rescued by her downstairs neighbors. With the help of her neighbors, she avoided being burned at the last moment by getting down to the downstairs apartment from the window of her house. While the apartment residents were evacuated, the moments of the woman saved from the fire were recorded by the other people around scene. Meanwhile, the fire was extinguished in approximately one and a half hours before it spread to other apartments and an investigation was launched regarding the cause of the fire.

Speaking at the 13th Meeting of High Security Officials in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that a new round of direct negotiations with Ukraine will be announced shortly. He recalled that Istanbul hosted the first round on May 16 and said Russia will continue to demand the repeal of laws in Ukraine that restrict the Russian language, culture, and the Russian-linked Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Lavrov reiterated that Ukraine’s neutral status remains a key demand in peace efforts.
