According to the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State, environmental authorities in Peru continue to find dead birds covered in oil on Lima beaches and islands.
The oil spill from the La Pampilla refinery, operated by the Repsol oil company, have caused a natural disaster on the island on January 15 by polluting sea and land.
