27 passengers injured after a bus toppled on its side in India

An overcrowded bus toppled on its side after one of its tire burst while travelling on a road at the Kolkata city in India’s West Bengal state. During those moments, some of the passengers fell out from the side windows and crashed under the toppled bus. While there wasn’t any loss of life in the incident, a total of 27 people, including 7 children aged between 9 and 17, were injured in the accident. While the driver of the bus fled the scene, it’s been reported that there were 50 people on the bus. After the incident, West Bengal Transport Minister Firhad Hakim has given order that all the buses unfit to enter the traffic to be confiscated.
