A flock of Yellow-Headed Juniper birds crashed into the ground in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, resulting in dozens of dead birds. The rest of the flock continued to fly. The moments when the flock crashed to the ground were recorded. It is not known what caused the incident. Authorities sought help from a zoo technical veterinarian to investigate the cause of the incident. Experts stated that migratory birds may have made such a move by breathing toxic gases from a nearby heater or as a result of overloading the power line they are on.
