Art meets nature in Turkey’s Artvin

A music concert was held in the Karagöl-Sahara National Park, which is famous for its natural beauties, in the Şavşat district of Artvin, which is called the “Calm City”. Art met with nature, accompanied by Piano, Cello and Accordion, placed on the snow-covered pier of the frozen lake. Important pieces were performed together with Onur Gül in Cello, Volkan Çeliktaş in Accordion and Tamara Çelik in Piano.

Karagöl Sahara National Park, which takes on a different beauty in every season, is among the important tourism destination centers of the city. Located within the borders of the national park, 25 kilometers from the district center, Karagöl offers unique views in winter with its heart-shaped view among fir, spruce and pine trees. Artvin Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism brought art together with nature in order to raise awareness in order to increase the tourism potential of the city.
