Turkey joined NATO on 18 Feb 1952, marking the 70th anniversary of the historical event today. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has shared a special video clip to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Turkey’s accession to NATO. Turkish armed forces displayed in the video clip, in which they are seen conducting joint military missions across the globe with NATO members.
Turkey’s Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar posted a video message on the 70th anniversary of Turkey’s accession to NATO. “As the second largest army in the Alliance, Türkiye has always fulfilled all its responsibilities towards NATO and will continue to do so in the future.” Akar said.
