A great destruction occurred in the area where the civilian settlement is located following the Russian missile strikes at television tower in Kyiv. One of the two missiles launched fell to the east of the television tower and the other near a passage to the north. Electric poles were knocked down on the roads by the impact of the missile. Debris was scattered along with glass, rockets and pieces of iron.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara visited the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headquarters in Washington during his talks with US President Donald Trump. He was welcomed by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
Georgieva said on social media, “It was a privilege to host President Al-Shara at the IMF. We discussed the economic transformation Syrians need and deserve, and I reiterated the IMF’s readiness to assist through technical support to key institutions.”
