Bangladeshi cargo vessel hit by missile, one sailor killed

In Mykolaiv, a missile hit the Bangladesh-flagged cargo vessel killing one crew member. Commodore Sumon Mahmud, General Manager of Bangladesh Maritime Company (BSC), stated that the name of the crew who lost their lives was Hadisur Rahman and that he was the third engineer of the ship. BSC stated that the ship has been at anchor in Ukraine since February 22 and has a total of 29 crew members, all of whom are Bangladeshi nationals. Ukraine announced that the ship was hit by Russia, while two tugboats were sent to evacuate the ship’s crew.
