In Ukrainian cities, the Russian army faces civil unrest and resistance. People in the Ukrainian city of Enorgadar confronted Russian soldiers stationed there, demanding that they leave their country. Russian soldiers, on the other hand, opened fire in the air to disperse the crowd. The crowd did not disperse despite the fire in the air, and the Russian soldiers quickly left the area.

He recalled that Istanbul hosted the first round on May 16 and said Russia will continue to demand the repeal of laws in Ukraine that restrict the Russian language, culture, and the Russian-linked Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Lavrov reiterated that Ukraine’s neutral status remains a key demand in peace efforts.
