In the city of Cuenca, in the south of Ecuador, 4 people died and 11 were injured in a landslide caused by heavy rains. 436 people were evacuated from the city, and a state of emergency was declared in the city, local authorities stated.
In areas where landslides and floods occur, teams continue their debris removal and road cleaning efforts.
