The International Edirne Band and Liver Festival begins after 2 years due to the pandemic. The festival will be held on 13-14-15 May 2022 where people of Edirne will once again meet with the universality of music. The festival will also serve fried liver, which is Edirne’s brand flavor. On Sunday, May 15, free liver will be served to the public on Saraçlar Street.
Bahri Dinar, President of the Association for the Promotion of Edirne and the Protection of Liver, stated that 1.5 tons of liver will be distributed at the festival, and said, “This festival holds only in Edirne in Turkey. Our streets will smell of Fried Liver on Sunday. We invite the whole world to eat liver in Edirne.”
