An attacker entered a building belonging to the Mostazafan Foundation and took the employees hostage in Ilam city, Iran. While the police team dispatched to the scene, it’s learned that the attacker was a former foundation employee and was recently dismissed. In the incident, the attacker killed 4 hostages with a gun and injured 5 of them before the police arrived. “The fired ex-foundation employee attacked the foundation building with a sense of revenge and took the employees inside hostage. In revenge, he killed 4 people and injured 5 more. He then took his own life,” Ilam Police Chief Elgasi Mehr said.

Speaking before departing for the NATO Summit in The Hague, Trump stated, “I have to calm Israel down… They dropped a load of bombs – the likes which I’ve ever seen before.” He warned on social media, “Israel, don’t drop those bombs. It would be a major violation.”
Trump also said Iran’s nuclear capacity is exhausted and clarified he does not support regime change in Iran. He reaffirmed that the ceasefire remains in effect and called for restraint.
