A couple walking down the street in Mexico City, the country’s capital, narrowly avoided being crushed by a fallen tree. The security camera in the area captured the moments when the tree fell. While the falling tree caused material damage to the parked vehicles, no one was killed or injured as a result of the incident.
The storm had knocked down 56 trees in the city so far, authorities said. The stormy weather would continue, and a yellow alert was issued due to impending heavy rains, according to the Ministry of Civil Defense in Mexico City.
