A fire broke out in a Styrofoam factory in Bihac, located in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina. While 8 fire trucks, police and ambulance were sent to the scene, the fire spread to the entire building. All the workers in the factory at the time of the fire managed to get out. Una-Sana Canton Police Department Spokesperson Adnan Beganovic said in a statement, “Citizens in the surrounding area were evacuated because we were informed that there was a natural gas installation inside.”
While no deaths or injuries have been reported so far, great material damage has occurred in the factory. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
