The Agusta Koala helicopter, which took off from Capannori Tassignano Airport in Lucca, Italy, with an Italian pilot and six foreign nationals on board, has disappeared off the radar. The helicopter was said to have flown to Pavullo nel Frignano Airport in Modena, and communication with the helicopter was lost about 30 minutes after takeoff.
According to the Italian sources, four of the passengers on the helicopter were Turkish citizens. Helicopter search and rescue operations are carried out in the Modena region between Pievepelago and San Pellegrino.
