The 35-decare island that located in Lake Hazar in Turkish city of Elazığ has been home to rabbits for 21 years. It’s known that there are currently over 200 rabbits on the island, with the breed of 2 rabbits left by a Turkish commander in charge at the island. The island is also home to thousands of seagulls during the summer months. While being home to 68 bird species as well as rabbits and seagulls, the island draws attention with its beauty. It’s planned to create a promenade area for the coastline in the future for the island, which has been declared a 1st degree protected area and is prohibited to visit. Meanwhile, the post card images revealing island has recorded with a drone camera. Also during recording, thousands of seagulls flying at the same time created unique images.
