A skateboarding event was organized by groups of boys and girls in Shiraz, Iran. In the video images shared on social media after the event, it’s been recorded that the girls participating in the skateboarding event didn’t wear hijab. After the incident, the Iranian police detained 5 people who didn’t wear headscarves and participated in the event, which was organized as a mixed group of boys and girls. Iranian state media reported that after the Friday prayers in Shiraz, a rally will be held against Western-style youth gatherings.
