New Yorkers Celebrate Lifting Of Measures With Fireworks

New Yorkers celebrated lifting of pandemic restrictions with fireworks held at various locations across the state yesterday evening. Fireworks lit up the skies across the state to welcome post-pandemic life in the city and honor the people who have been working through the pandemic. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced earlier on Wednesday that most of the coronavirus restrictions in the state were lifted as New York reached the 70 percent vaccination threshold.
